The Journey to El-Nahara: It’s Not a Brand — It’s a Living Movement

How did we arrive here — to this ever-expanding work, this luminous community we hold so dear?

I say we and not I, because none of this would exist without Chris, my amazing husband — his faith, often stronger than mine, his steady covering, and his unshakable belief in what God has called us to build together.

My journey with anointing oils began back in 2008. It has been a path of discovery and deep learning — an unfolding relationship with the Spirit through the language of fragrance. Each time a new oil was revealed, my heart desired to share that encounter with others — to invite them into the wonder of these earthly elements that YHVH gave us as a bridge to draw nearer to Him.

That longing birthed Unveiled Essence in 2019 — a company dedicated to all things anointing oils. Many suggested I merge my art and oil ventures, but at the time, I couldn’t yet see how they could flow together. The early years were slow and full of learning curves — juggling systems, teaching others, and watching very little visible growth. There were moments I questioned if I should stop, wondering if I had gone beyond what YHVH had actually said.

Then, in 2024, my mom — a retired accountant — moved in with us. She graciously took on my “creative chaos” of bookkeeping (and trust me, my one-page system was nothing to brag about!). That year marked a noticeable shift. I began to see how the ministry and the business could finally grow in harmony.

The Hidden Years of Growth

At the start of 2025, we brought the two worlds together. For the first time, I could see how my art and fragrance were never meant to be separate — they were always designed to converge. I needed the journey apart, so that in the fullness of time, they could collide with purpose. And so, El-Nahara was born — a divine intersection I had dreamed of for years.

It was the moment when creation found me — when something ancient stirred in the silence and whispered, now. Letting go of what I had built over five years wasn’t easy, but the expansion came with such ease, such grace, that I knew I had entered the Divine River of Life and Light.

The Meaning of El-Nahara

In Hebrew, Nahara means river of light. It speaks of divine flow — a movement that carries both water and illumination. It is both a place and a presence; a current that moves through me and everything I create. I’ve always been drawn to this intersection where art, spirit, and the senses converge — a sacred dialogue between heaven and earth.

For years, I tried to fit into traditional molds of what it meant to be an artist. My early work was about technique, about teaching others, about survival. But now, when I paint, I don’t merely create — I listen, encounter, and experience. Every brushstroke is a prayer; every texture a revelation of the unseen. My canvases have become portals — living spaces where divine light and human encounter meet.

Fragrance, too, is a form of language — invisible, yet profoundly transformative. The oils I blend carry memory, emotion, and spiritual resonance. They are fragrant vessels of encounter — invitations to touch the intangible. Each blend in my fragrance line is more than perfume; it’s an anointing — a call to awaken the senses to Spirit.

Together, art and fragrance have become my way of translating heaven to earth. The same Presence that moves through a painting also moves through scent — both carrying vibration, beauty, and revelation. They are twin rivers from one Source, designed to reawaken stillness, memory, and identity in Christ.

A Living Movement

El-Nahara was born from that revelation — not as a brand, but as a living movement, a LIfe experience. It is a return to divine flow — to sacred intelligence expressed through the senses. Through art, oils, and immersive experiences, I now guide others to reconnect with their inner light — to remember who they are beyond the noise, beyond performance, beyond the systems of the world.

Each collection, each fragrance, each teaching is an act of restoration. It is more than creating beauty — it is awakening being.

I believe that when we rest in the flow of divine light, everything begins to align — body, soul, and spirit. Creativity becomes communion.

This is El-Nahara — the river of light I was born to steward. A realm where art breathes, fragrance speaks, and every soul is invited to encounter the sacred through the senses.
